I hope you've had an amazing week at home like we had here! This week I was able to teach art to 2nd graders which was probably the highlight of my week. They were so creative as they drew their pictures, they would add a story to go along with them. And, even though they all were following the same model, there weren't two pictures alike. I also heard them talking about warm versus cool colors and how to make their drawings look three dimensional.
We finished our field test for the state in grades 3 - 5 this week. We will not receive results for this. It is used to test the items used on future tests. We also had Kids On The Block here with their puppet show. This is always a beneficial program for our kids.
Hopefully, this is our last blast of cold weather. I know it hasn't been a hard winter but it has still been too long since summer in my opinion! Don't forget to set your clocks forward Saturday night.
